Penyman Foundation
The Penyman Foundation is the philanthropic and social responsibility arm of Penyman Group, established to drive inclusive development and address pressing social issues in Ghana. Guided by values of equity, empowerment, and empathy, the Foundation’s mission is to transform lives through programs in education, healthcare, youth development, and women’s empowerment
From scholarship schemes for brilliant but needy students, to community health screenings in underserved districts, the Foundation’s interventions are wide-reaching and deeply impactful. One of our flagship initiatives is our women’s empowerment program, which trains women in trades such as wig-making and soap production, equipping them with skills that generate income and reduce dependency. In addition, our focus on youth empowerment sees us partnering with schools and organizations to prepare the next generation for leadership in sustainable development
We also champion advocacy initiatives, speaking out on national issues such as poverty reduction, education reform, and environmental sustainability. By giving a voice to communities often overlooked in policy discussions, the Foundation reinforces its role as both a service provider and a social change advocate
Our projects have reached hundreds of households across the Central Region and beyond. Students have been given the chance to pursue education without financial barriers, women have gained financial independence through vocational skills, and communities have benefited from health interventions. Every project we undertake is designed not just for short-term relief but for long-term empowerment and sustainable transformation
